RTITB to Launch a Revolution in Lift Truck Training at IMHX 2019
RTITB, the preferred regulatory body for workplace transport training, will launch its revolutionised Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) training accreditation services at this year’s IMHX event in Birmingham.
IMHX is the UK’s largest event for logistics and supply chain professionals and includes new technology, product launches and live demos from hundreds of the industry’s leading names. Visitors to RTITB’s stand at the event will be among the first to learn about its new and improved training accreditation service providing employers with a cost-effective way to manage and deliver their MHE training.
“In line with our ethos, RTITB’s new MHE accreditation service will still be focused on the importance of high standards within operator training and testing,” explains Laura Nelson, Managing Director or RTITB. “It will also reinforce our dedication and commitment to safety within the warehousing and logistics industry by enabling end users to easily identify the training provider best suited to their needs.”
Full details of the service, which will be available for both current and new RTITB partners from September 2019, will be revealed during its official launch at IMHX 2019. Also at the event, RTITB will provide an exclusive preview of its new portal for accredited organisations, MyRTITB.
The new portal gives RTITB partners everything they need to deliver training in one easily accessed, user-friendly location. Members will be able to upload training onto NORS, the centralised validation, registration and certification scheme for RTITB accredited training which helps ensure that re-training and re-testing takes place at suitable intervals to improve safety and efficiency.
Users will also be able to analyse training completed per site or per instructor and send electronic reminders regarding qualifications which are about to expire, making it easier than ever for operators and training managers to keep on top of training needs and ensure safety and compliance.
RTITB Accredited organisations, who will have a dedicated customer profile and account, as well as a sales microsite to promote their business, will be able to access electronic copies of RTITB training materials, presentations and testing documentation in the portal. They can also easily keep on top of CPD with an area offering relevant news articles, e-bulletins and webinars in one place. E-learning for instructors and operators will also be added to the portal after launch.
“RTITB accreditation already offers a myriad of benefits, from superior training materials, fast certificate turnaround time, exceptional support and a very competitive cost,” says Laura. “However, we are excited to make accreditation even more worthwhile with the addition of the MyRTITB portal and our new and improved accreditation services.”
For more information, visit RTITB at Booth 20G86 at IMHX from 24th – 27th September 2019 at the NEC, Birmingham.
