Pally can transform into a variety of retail displays that are both mobile and static.
ORBIS® Corporation, an international manufacturer of reusable packaging and supply chain optimization expert, is seeing the Pally® being used across multiple industries for display purposes. The Pally, part pallet and part dolly, transforms traditional merchandising methods by being able to move from fulfillment center to truck to storeroom, serving as a static display.
The Pally combines the mobility of a dolly with the functionality of a static pallet to enable new and enhanced material handling capabilities. The dual feature allows material to be rolled from the truck directly to the aisle without down stacking. This unique performance results in greater end-to-end supply chain versatility for increased efficiency.
Since launching earlier this year, the Pally has performed in numerous merchandising settings as different types of product displays. It can transform into an in-aisle, shopper-ready endcap or point-of-purchase display when combined with a racking system and bakery trays. Promotional pallets can be pre-built at the distribution center for eye-catching, branded displays.
“ORBIS is part of Menasha Corporation who manufactures materials for advanced display designs that are compatible with the Pally. This creates a full functional display that only requires one touch point when traveling from the truck to the aisle,” said Mike Ludka, senior product manager, ORBIS Corporation. “Our relationship with Menasha allows us to give our customers advanced support in bringing uniquely customized displays to stores.”
The innovative design of the Pally allows the display to be easily moved, as needed. Even with its mobile capability, the Pally is safe to use for merchandising because the rubber braking stabilizers prevents it from moving after lateral force is applied. Collisions with carts or other objects will not cause the Pally to transition out of its static mode.
The Pally also supports small-format retailers. Its durability and long service life allows for frequent product deliveries, and its two footprints – 31.5” x 23.6” and 39.4” x 23.6” – lets it easily maneuver in tight spaces, such as narrow doorways and aisles. In the end, the Pally is not just material handling equipment, but a cost effective merchandising solution that fits most retail spaces without hassle. ORBISPally.com
