ArrowXL recognised at Global Awards Ceremony.
ArrowXL, the UK’s leading two-man home delivery expert, has won the ‘Delivery On Demand’ category at The World Post and Parcel Awards 2017, for its AskAxl web app. It beat off competition from around the globe and received the award at a prestigious gala evening held at at L’Hotel du Collectionneur in Paris.
The AskAxl app is designed to provide Choice, Convenience, Certainty and Personalisation. It enables customers to select their delivery date at the checkout, or book delivery via 2-way SMS. It offers 2-hour timeslots as standard which are dynamically updated, reducing to just 30 minutes. A web-chat facility is available for customer questions and delivery detail amends and a visual web-app enables customers to track progress of the delivery vehicle. The names of the team who’ll deliver the purchase are provided and customers receive a phone call from them while they’re en-route.
This is the first time ArrowXL has entered the awards which are designed to ‘celebrate the successes of the emerging talents in mail and express from the past year’ and we are honoured to have our innovation recognised.
Paul Tyson, Commercial Director at ArrowXL, said: “We act as an extension of the retailer’s brand experience so we have invested heavily to ensure that we can demonstrate the same standards and customer service ethos. Our AskAxl app puts customers firmly in control of when they receive their delivery and provides ongoing reassurance about its progress, supported by regular communication by email, SMS and phone.” www.arrowxl.co.uk
